Dr. Sahay completed his graduation (M.B.B.S.) from Ranchi Medical College & Hospital (R.M.C.H.) [Presently Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences (R.I.M.S.)], Ranchi, Jharkhand, India in 1988.

He completed his post-graduation (M.S. in Ophthalmology) from Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences (R.I.M.S.), Ranchi, Jharkhand, India in 1994. He then completed his training at L. V. Prasad Eye Institute (L.V.P.E.I.), Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh, India in 1997.

He joined Apollo Hospital, Irba, Jharkhand in 1997 & worked there in the capacity of “Consultant” till 2015. In the winter of November 1997, he started Matri Prerna Eye Hospital (MPEH) at Kokar, Ranchi, Jharkhand, India.

In 2015, he started construction of a new building of MPEH at Industrial Area, Kokar, Ranchi. A world-class infrastructure abiding to the guidelines of Govt. of India & NABH has been constructed.

Mrs. Sahay completed her graduation (B. Sc. In Zoology) from Ranchi Women’s College, Ranchi in 1993. She completed her post-graduation (M.Sc. in Zoology) from Ranchi Women’s College, Ranchi in 1995. She then completed her course in Hospital Management from Vellore in 1996. She is a dynamic lady and has been looking after the administration and day – to – day activities of MPEH right from its inception, way back in 1997. She has loads of experience in her field.

Dr. Abhik Sahay completed his graduation (M.B.B.S.) from JSS Medical College & Hospital,
Mysore, Karnataka in 2016, and in 2020, he achieved his post-graduation (D.N.B in
Ophthalmology) degree from Shri Ganapati Netralaya, Jalna, Maharashtra, India.He has done Short term fellowship in Cornea and Refractive surgery from LV Prasad Eye Institute,
Hyderabad. His area of interest includes Cataract and Refractive surgery.He’s attached with Matri Prerna Eye Hospital since November 2020.

Dr. Dolly Dhanuka Sahay completed her graduation (M.B.B.S.) from Government Medical
College & Hospital, Akola, Maharashtra in 2015, and in 2020, she achieved her post-
graduation (D.N.B in Ophthalmology) degree from Shri Ganapati Netralaya, Jalna,
Maharashtra, India. She has done Short term fellowship in Cornea and Anterior Segment
from LV Prasad Eye Institute, Hyderabad. Her area of interest includes Cataract and Cornea.
She’s attached with Matri Prerna Eye Hospital since June 2021.

A Bachelor in Veterinary Science And Animal Husbandry (Hons.), Dr. Roy graduated in the year 1979 from Ranchi Veterinary College (RAU), Ranchi. He started his professional career as a Cattle Development Officer in the Bharatiya Agro Industries Foundation, Pune in June 1979 and stayed in Maharashtra for 3 years.

He then worked in the Animal Husbandry Department, Government of Bihar as Touring Veterinary Officer, Khalari under Kanke Sadar Division from June 1982 to November 1983. He served the organization in various capacities and cadres, predominantly in Marketing as In – charge. He successfully cleared the Professional Certificate Course of Associate of Insurance Institute of India (AIII) in 1997. He was superannuated as Regional Manager (Scale 5) in January 2015 after having 32 years of service. From July 2009 till retirement, he was involved with Health Insurance Portfolio, Pan India, taking care of Retail, Corporate A/Cs of large portfolios in active association with various Third Party Administrators (TPAs).

Post-retirement, he served with the Star Health & Allied Insurance Company Limited as Claims Chief of their Bihar region, based at Patna. He has varied and tremendous experience of Indian Health Insurance scenario and handling the portfolio, right from formulating various products to management of claims with the application of medical background, thereby keeping the overall claims ratio within the permissible limit.
